King's Daughters - Psalms 45:9

In Psalms chapter forty five David said, “All your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made you glad”, and in chapter forty five and verse nine of Psalms David said, “Kings' daughters were among your honorable women” where we read,

Kings' daughters were among your honorable women:

upon your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

The verse begins, Kings' daughters were among your honorable women: David began with the words, “Kings' daughters” or “the female children or princesses of royal rulers” “were among your honorable women” which means “were valuable, prized, precious, rare and splendid females”. David said the “Royal king” was accompanied by the “daughters or princesses” of other “kings” and were considered valuable, noble and prized females.

The verse goes on to say, upon your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.” David continued with the words, “upon your right hand” or “at your, Royal king's, right side of power, authority and might” “did stand the queen” which means “stationed, took an upright position and established the queen consort” “in gold of Ophir” or “in fine and pure gold belonging to Ophir which means reducing to ashes and was a land or city in southern Arabia in Solomon's trade route where gold evidently was traded for goods”. David said the “queen” was wearing fine gold jewelry as she stood at the “royal ruler's” right side of authority.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see how David continued to share about this regal “royal ruler”. Not only did other “king's daughters or princesses” who were valued and prized surround him, but the “queen” dressed in fine gold jewelry was standing at his right side of authority. Jehovah God is regal, and those who surround Him are greatly valued and prized. Anyone who accompanies Him will find themselves among the most treasured who live. God's desire is to have a personal, intimate relationship with every person through His Son Jesus, and when we submit our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us eternal life and establish us among the most prized beings who have ever lived.

Next time David says,Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
