God in the Midst - Psalms 46:5

In Psalms chapter forty six David said, There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High”, and in chapter forty six and verse five of Psalms David said, “God is in the midst of her” where we read,

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

The verse begins, God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: David began with the words, “God is in the midst of her” or “the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God exists within the middle, inner part and heart of her, the city”; “she shall not be moved” which means “she, the city, will in no way or manner totter, shake, be overthrown or slip away”. David said the Divine judge and ruler is within the middle of the “city”, and that “city” will in no way be destroyed, tottered or overthrown.

The verse goes on to say,God shall help her, and that right early.” David continued with the words, “God shall help her” or “the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God will succor, assist and give aid to her, the city”, “and that right early” which means “and God's assistance will come at the break of dawn”. David said Jehovah God would assist the “city” in which He dwells very early in the daytime or morning.

When we think through the words in this verse, we learn how Jehovah God dwells within His “city”, and nothing will overthrow it. God will assist the “city” at the break of dawn, and throughout eternity God's dwelling place shall continue to exist. God wants all of us to live with Him there, and He provided His Son Jesus to save us from our sins so we may be forgiven and granted everlasting life. Jehovah God is not only present within His “city”, but He will also provide and protect it for all eternity along with everyone who surrenders to Him.

Next time David says, the heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
