The Fat Eating and Worshiping - Psalms 22:29

In Psalms chapter twenty-two David said, “The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations, and in chapter twenty two and verse twenty-nine of Psalms David said, “all they that are fat upon the earth shall eat and worship” where we read,

All they that are fat upon earth shall eat and worship:

all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

The verse begins, All they that are fat upon earth shall eat and worship:” David began with the words, “All they that are fat” which means “each, every, the whole and everyone who exists as vigorous, stalwart, rich and fertile” “upon the earth” or “in the arable land, territory, country, region and world” “shall eat and worship” which means “will consume and devour, bow down and prostrate themselves, reverence and humbly beseech and make obeisance to Jehovah God”. David said every person who is rich, fertile and vigorous will consume and reverence Jehovah God.

The verse goes on to say,all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.” David continued with the words, “all they that go down” or “each, every, the whole and everyone who descends, declines and goes down” “to the dust” which means “to the earth, ground, debris and powder” “shall bow before him” or “will kneel and sink to their knees in reverence in front and in the presence of Jehovah God”: “and none can keep alive” which means “and not one person is able or capable of sustaining life, being quickened or restoring to life and health” “his own soul” or “that person's own personal inner man, will, mind, emotions and passions”. David said every person who goes to the “dust” or eventually “dies” will prostrate themselves before Jehovah God, and no one will be able to maintain their living perpetually.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn through David how every person will eventually bow and give praise to Jehovah God and His Son Jesus. Everyone, without exception, will die physically, but they may obtain eternal life with God when they submit to His Son Jesus as their “Savior and Lord”. Jesus came to the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and because He desires to live with us forever, God provided forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. Let Jehovah God be praise for His plan to save us and live with us for all eternity.

Next time David says, “a seed shall serve him, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
