God's Way is Perfect - Psalms 18:30

In Psalms chapter eighteen David said of Jehovah, “you will light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by you I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall”, and in chapter eighteen and verse thirty of Psalms David said, “As for God, his way is perfect where we read,

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried:

he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

The verse begins, As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried:” David began with the words, “As for God” which means “pertaining to the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God”, “his way is perfect” or “Jehovah God's path, direction, manner and habit exists as complete, whole, sound, healthful and entire”: “the word” which means “the utterance, speech and commandment” “of the LORD” or “belonging to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God” “is tried” which means “exists as smelted, refined and tested”. David said Jehovah God's manner and direction exists as complete and whole, and His “speech and utterances” have been tested and refined.

The verse goes on to say,he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. David continued with the words, “he is a buckler” or “Jehovah God is like a shield, protector and defense” “to all those” which means “to each, every, the whole and everyone” “that trust in him” or “who has faith, confidence and hope within Jehovah God”. David said Jehovah God is like a protective shield to every person who puts their confidence and faith in Him.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn how David understood Jehovah God was his protection and defense. God will watch over and defend anyone who puts their faith and trust in His Son Jesus, and even when it appears that people on earth have victory for a short time, Jehovah God will direct and watch over them for all eternity. Praise be unto God for His provision to everyone who yields themselves to Jesus, and those who do shall enjoy His protection for ever and ever.

Next time David asks, For who is God save the LORD?, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
