The Fruit of the Righteous - Proverbs 11:30

In the book of Proverbs Solomon said, “He that troubles his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart”, and in chapter eleven and verse thirty of Proverbs Solomon said, “the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life” where we read,

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise.

The verse begins, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; Solomon began with the words, “the fruit” or “the produce, offspring, bough or children” of the righteous which means “belonging to people who are right, just, lawful and correct” “is a tree of life” or “exists a timber, plank and stalk pertaining to active and lively living”. Solomon shared how the offspring or produce of people who are just, lawful and correct exist as a timber of active living.

The verse goes on to say, “and he that wins souls is wise.” Solomon continues with the words, “and that wins souls” or “and the person whether male or female who gets, fetches, lays hold of, seizes and acquires the living and breathing hearts, minds, wills, desires, conscience and seat of emotions and passions of people” “is wise” which means “exists as skillful, shrewd and prudent”. Solomon said the person who fetches and seized the hearts, minds and wills of living people exists as shrewd and prudent.

When we meditate upon Solomon's words in this verse, we discover the bountiful supply that is produced by the offspring of people who are just, right and correct in keeping with Jehovah God's way, and anyone who lays hold of the minds, wills and emotions of others on behalf of Him exists as a skillful and prudent person. God wants to “win” every “soul” to a personal relationship with Him, and to make that possible, He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind. When we surrender our lives to Him as our “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and help us to be “righteous” as we “win souls” for Him.

Next time Solomon says, “the righteous shall be recompensed”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
