The Righteous Shall Never Be Removed - Proverbs 10:30

In the book of Proverbs Solomon said, “The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity”, and in chapter ten and verse thirty of Proverbs Solomon said, “the righteous shall never be removed” where we read,

The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

The verse begins, “The righteous shall never be removed: Solomon began with the words, “the righteous” or “people who are right, just, lawful and correct” shall never be removed which means “will in no way or manner for long duration, futurity, everlastingly and evermore totter, shake, slip, be overthrown or dislodged”. Solomon shared how people who are just, lawful and correct unto perpetuity will in no manner be overthrown or dislodged.

The verse goes on to say, “but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.” Solomon continue with the words, “but the wicked” or “however, nonetheless, notwithstanding and moreover people who are criminal, guilty of crimes, evil and hostile to God” “shall not inhabit the earth” which means “will in no way or manner abide, remain, continue or dwell within the country, territory, region or world”. Solomon said people who are evil and hostile to God will in no way or manner continue to live within the world.

When we consider the words in this verse, we learn through Solomon how there is a difference between people who are “righteous” and people who are “wicked”. The consequences for their behavior leads to their future. When a person is just and lawful according to God's standards, they will remain eternally with Him, however, if a person is evil and unjust, they will be eliminated from the world and live forever without God. God's desire is to have a personal intimate relationship with every person, and He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind to prove it. When we surrender our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and give us the ability to live in a “righteous” manner throughout eternity.

Next time Solomon said, “the mouth of the just brings forth wisdom”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
