In Psalms one hundred six the Psalmist said, “Praise you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?”, and in chapter one hundred six and verse three of Psalms the Psalmist said, “Blessed are they that keep judgment” where we read,
Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that does righteousness at all times.
The verse begins, “Blessed are they that keep judgment, ...” The Psalmist began with the words, “blessed are they” or “O how happy exist the people whether male or female” “that keep judgment” which means “who guard, give heed and observe justice, ordinance, procedure and litigation”. The Psalmist said the people who observe and give heed to justice and litigation exist as O how happy.
The verse continues, “... and he that does righteousness at all times.” The Psalmist added the words, “and he that does righteousness” or “and he, the person whether male or female, who fashions, accomplishes and produces justice, rightness, truthfulness and prosperity” “at all times” which means “during the whole, total and entirety of occurrence, occasion and experience”. The Psalmist said the person who performs rightness and truthfulness in every occurrence and occasion is also “O how happy”.
When we consider the words in this verse, we see how the Psalmist identified people as “O how happy” who observe God's laws and perform His right acts. God wants us to be filled with His joy, and His joy continues even when circumstances and situations dictate otherwise. God loves us, and He wants us to be in a personal intimate relationship with Him through His Son Jesus who came into the world to die on the cross for our sins. When we submit to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and produce a willingness to give heed to His ordinances and perform His right ways for all the days of our lives.
Next time Psalmist says, “Remember me, O LORD”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
