God Fulfilling the Desire of the Near - Psalms 145:19

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said to Jehovah God, “The LORD is near unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth”, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse nineteen of Psalms David said Jehovah God, will fulfill the desire of them that fear himwhere we read,

He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The verse begins, He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him:”. David began with the words, “He will fulfill” or “He, Jehovah God, shall fashion, accomplish, produce and act with effect toward” “the desires of them” which means “the pleasures, delights, favor, goodwill, acceptance and will belonging to the people whether male or female” “that fear him” or “who reverence, are in awe and afraid of him, Jehovah God”. David said Jehovah God would produce the pleasures and delights of people who revere Him and hold Him in awe.

The verse continues, “he also will hear their cry, and will save them.” David added the words, “he also will hear their cry” or “he, Jehovah God, even so and indeed shall listen to, perceive, pay attention and have interest within their, the people who fear Jehovah God's, shouting aloud for help”, “and will save them” which means “and shall rescue, deliver and liberate them, the people who fear Jehovah God”. David said Jehovah God would not only give audience to the words of people who “fear” Him, but would also help, deliver and liberate them.

When we think through David's words in this verse, we discover how he knew Jehovah God was the source of accomplishing and producing pleasures and delights for people who hold Him in awe. God shall indeed listen to our shouts for help and rescue us when we humble ourselves before Him and revere who His is. This same God loves us and proved it by sending His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and when we yield our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and not only “hear” us when we call upon Him, but also rescue us according to His Divine purposes and plans.

Next time David says, the LORD preserves all them that love him, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
