Speaking the Praise of the LORD - Psalms 145:21

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said to Jehovah God, “The LORD preserves all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy”, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse twenty-one of Psalms David said, my mouth shall speak the praise of the LORDwhere we read,

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

The verse begins, My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD:”. David began with the words, “My mouth” or “my, David's, orifice in the face used for drinking, eating and speaking” “shall speak the praise” which means “will utter, declare and proclaim the adoration, thanksgiving and glory” “of the LORD” or “pertaining to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. David concluded this chapter by declaring that he would employ his “mouth” to utter and declare the adoration and glory belonging to Jehovah God.

The verse continues, “and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.” David added the words, “and let all flesh” or “and allow and permit each, every, the whole and everyone of the bodies of people to” “bless his holy name” which means “adore, salute and celebrate his, Jehovah God's, sacred, set apart, consecrated, dedicated and hallowed fame, reputation and glory” “for ever and ever” or “for long duration, unto futurity, everlasting, perpetually and unto perpetuity”. David said everybody should adore and celebrate the fame, reputation and glory of Jehovah God for all eternity.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we see how David ended this Psalm by declaring that he would use his “mouth” to share about the adoration and thanksgiving of Jehovah God, and he exhorted everyone, everywhere to perpetually give honor, adoration and thanks to Jehovah God. God is worthy of our “praise” and glory, and because He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, when we yield our lives to Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and encourage us to give Him glory and praise forever and ever more.

Next time we begin a new chapter and see the Psalmist say, praise you the LORD, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
