Mouths Speaking Vanity - Psalms 144:8

In Psalms one hundred and forty four David said to Jehovah God about his enemies, “Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out your arrows, and destroy them. Send your hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children”, and in chapter one hundred and forty four and verse eight of Psalms David said about the strange children, whose mouth speaks vanitywhere we read,

Whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

The verse begins, Whose mouth speaks vanity, ... David began with the words, “whose mouth” or “these enemies have orifices in their faces used for eating, drinking and speaking” “speaks vanity” which means “utters, declares and proclaims emptiness, falsehood, nothingness and worthlessness”. David shared how his hating adversaries employed their mouths to proclaim empty and false statements.

The verse continues, “... and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.” David added the words, “and their right hand” or “and their, David's enemies, physical right hand of power, might and authority” “is a right hand” which means “exists as a right hand of power, might and authority” “of falsehood” or “pertaining to lying, deception, disappointment, fraud and wrong”. David said the “right hand” of power, might and authority of his hating foes was deceptive, fraudulent and wrong.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we see how David shared about the speech of his hating adversaries. They spoke empty words, and they used their power and might in a deceptive and fraudulent manner. David was being ill-treated, and he turned his foes over to Jehovah God. God can relate to us because He sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and when we yield our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and take control of wicked people who use their voices and their right hands to conduct malicious activity against His believers.

Next time David says, I will sing a new song unto you, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
