Speaking of God's Terrible Acts - Psalms 145:6

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said to Jehovah God, “I will speak of the glorious honor of your majesty, and of your wondrous works, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse six of Psalms David said to Jehovah God, men shall speak of the might of your terrible actswhere we read,

And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts:

and I will declare your greatness.

The verse begins, And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: David began with the words, “and men shall speak” or “and people both male and female will utter, declare and proclaim” “of the might” which means “pertaining to the power, strength and fierceness” “of your terrible acts” or “belonging to your, Jehovah God's, fearful, revered, awesome and respected deeds and works”. David said people would make utterances and declarations concerning the strength and fierceness of Jehovah God's awesome works.

The verse goes on to say,and I will declare your greatness.David continued with the words, “and I will declare” or “and I, David, shall number, account, commune and reckon” “your greatness” which means “your, Jehovah God's, mighty acts, dignity and majesty”. David said he would make an account and reckon the mighty acts and dignity of Jehovah God.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn how David knew people would declare the fierceness and power of Jehovah God's works when He made Himself known to them. David determined to number and reckon God's majesty in the presence of the people, and they would respond in praise to Him. God loves people, and He wants to have a personal relationship with every person through His Son Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of all mankind. When we yield our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and allow us to be a part of recognizing the mighty works of God and determining to share His majesty with others.

Next time David says, they shall abundantly utter the memory of your great goodness, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
