God Satisfying Desires - Psalms 145:16

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said to Jehovah God, “the eyes of all wait upon you: and you give them their meat in due season, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse sixteen of Psalms David said to Jehovah God, “you … satisfy the desire of every living thingwhere we read,

You open your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

The verse begins, You open your hand, .... David began with the words, “you open” or “you, Jehovah God, let loose, break forth, ungird and unstop” “your hand” which means “your, Jehovah God's, hand of power, might, authority and strength”. David referred to when Jehovah God unstops and loosens His power, might and authority.

The verse goes on to say,... and satisfy the desire of every living thing.David continued with the words, “and satisfy” or “and satiates, suffices, fills and enriches” “the desire” which means “the pleasure, delight, favor, goodwill, acceptance and will” “of every living thing” or “belonging to each, all, the whole and everything that is flowing, active, reviving, sustaining and maintaining”. David said Jehovah God fills and enriches the pleasure and favor of all active “things”.

When we think through the words in this verse, we learn how David said Jehovah God let loose His power, strength and might to fill and enrich the passions and delights of every vibrant and active “thing”. God loves His creation, and He loves us. He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and when we put our faith and trust in Jesus, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and fulfill the pleasures and passions of our lives in keeping with His perfect plan and will.

Next time David says, the LORD is righteous in all his ways, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
