Happy People - Psalms 144:15

In Psalms one hundred and forty four David said to Jehovah God, “Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood. That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace. That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets. That our oxen may be strong to labor; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets”, and in chapter one hundred and forty four and verse fifteen of Psalms David said, happy is that people, that is in such a casewhere we read,

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yes, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

The verse begins, Happy is that people, that is in such a case: David began with the words, “happy is that people” or “blessed exists the human beings both male and female”, “that is in such a case” which means “who exists within this manner and matter”. David said people who have Jehovah God protecting and providing for them exist as blessed.

The verse goes on to say, yes, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.” David continued with the words, “yes, happy is that people” or “even so and indeed, blessed exists the human beings both male and female”, “whose God” which means “whose Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God” “is the LORD” or “exists Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. David repeated the idea that people for whom God provided and protected were blessed because Jehovah God exists as the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God.

When we think through David's words in this verse, we learn how he proclaimed people to be blessed who had Jehovah God to provide and protect them because they recognized him as the Divine judge, ruler and Supreme God. God had a personal relationship with David, and He desires to have a personal relationship with us. He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and when we yield our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and cause us to be “happy” and blessed in our eternal relationship with Him.

Next time we begin a new chapter and see David say, I will extol you, my God, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
