An Everlasting Kingdom - Psalms 145:13

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said, All your works shall praise you, O LORD; and your saints shall bless you. They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power/ To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse thirteen of Psalms David said to Jehovah God, your kingdom is an everlasting kingdomwhere we read,

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

The verse begins, Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, .... David began with the words, “your kingdom” or “your, Jehovah God's, royal realm and reign” “is an everlasting kingdom” which means “exists as a royal realm and reign that is of long duration, unto futurity, perpetually and unto perpetuity”. David told Jehovah God that His royal reign would last for a long duration and unto perpetuity.

The verse continues,... and your dominion endures throughout all generations.David added the words, “and your dominion” or “and your, Jehovah God's, rule, realm, domain and power” “endures throughout all generations” which means “lasts and remains unto the whole, every, the totality of each and every period, age and time”. David said Jehovah God's rule and reign remains unto every period and age of time.

When we think through David's words in this verse, we learn how he recognized that Jehovah God's rule and reign would last forever and unto every period and age of time. God has always been, is and will always be, and every “period” in which people live, He is among them. He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind and in every age, and to anyone who yields to Him as their “Savior and Lord” will be forgiven of their sins, granted everlasting life and allowed to be a part of His rule and reign forever and ever.

Next time David says, the LORD upholds all that fall, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
