The LORD is Good to All - Psalms 145:9

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said, “the LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse nine of Psalms David said to Jehovah God, the LORD is good to allwhere we read,

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

The verse begins, The LORD is good to all:. David began with the words, “the LORD” or “Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God” “is good to all” which means “exists as pleasant, agreeable, excellent, rich, valuable in estimation, appropriate and becoming to each, every, the whole and everyone”. David said Jehovah God exists as pleasant, valuable and excellent for every person.

The verse continues, and his tender mercies are over all his works.David added the words, “and his tender mercies” or “and his, Jehovah God's, bowels of compassion, mercy and pity” “are over all his works” which means “exists as above each, every, the whole and every one of his, Jehovah God's, acts, things done, undertakings, achievements and labors”. David said Jehovah God's compassion and mercy are above every one of His acts and deeds.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn how David understood that God is pleasant and agreeable to everyone, and although circumstances may seem to dictate otherwise, God has an eternal plan of salvation that is backed by His compassion and love for every person. He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and when we yield our lives to Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and extend His goodness and mercy as He continues to labor on behalf of everyone.

Next time David says, all your works shall praise you, O LORD, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.

Until tomorrow…there is more…
