The LORD is Gracious and Full of Compassion - Psalms 145:8

In Psalms one hundred and forty five David said to Jehovah God, “I will speak of the glorious honor of your majesty, and of your wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: and I will declare your greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of your great goodness, and shall sing of your righteousness, and in chapter one hundred and forty five and verse eight of Psalms David said to Jehovah God, the LORD is gracious, and full of compassionwhere we read,

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The verse begins, The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; ... David began with the words, “the LORD is gracious” or “Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God exists as compassionate, with unmerited favor and blessing”, “and full of compassion” which means “and complete and furnished pertaining to mercy and pity”. David declared Jehovah God to be compassionate and complete with mercy and pity.

The verse goes on to say,... slow to anger, and of great mercy.David continued with the words, “slow to anger” or “patient and long suffering to wrath that wrinkles the nostrils, nose or forehead”, “and of great mercy” which means “and concerning exceeding and abundant goodness, kindness and faithfulness”. David said Jehovah God is also patient and long suffering when it comes to wrath, and He exhibits abundant goodness, kindness and faithfulness as well.

When consider the words in this verse, we see how David spoke of the qualities and characteristics of Jehovah God. God is “gracious, compassionate, slow to anger and filled with mercy”, and He desires to share these traits with everyone who will surrender their life to His Son Jesus who died on the cross for the sins of all mankind. When we yield our lives to Him, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and demonstrate His willingness to share His unmerited favor, abundant mercy, patience and exceeding goodness, kindness and faithfulness with us.

Next time David says, the LORD is good to all, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
