In Psalms one hundred and three David said, “Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word”, and in chapter one hundred three and verse twenty-one of Psalms David said, “Bless you the LORD, all you his hosts” where we read,
Bless you the LORD, all you his hosts; you ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
The verse begins, “Bless you the LORD, all you his hosts;” David began with the words, “Bless you the LORD” or “salute, kneel to and praise with persistence to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”, “all you his hosts” which means “each, every, the whole and everyone of you people who belong to his, Jehovah God's, mass of people or army for battle”. David encouraged all the masses of people who were equipped like and “army” for battle to salute and praise Jehovah God.
The verse continues, “you ministers of his, that do his pleasure.” David added the words, “you ministers of his” or “you, belonging to his, Jehovah God's, servants, worshipers and servants”, “that do his pleasure” which means “who perform, accomplish and produces his, Jehovah God's, acceptable, pleasing and delightful will”. David called upon the servants and worshipers who perform Jehovah God's matters of pleasure.
When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we see how David called upon every one of the masses of people or armies to salute and kneel before Jehovah God. He instructed Jehovah God's worshipers and servants who accomplish His delight to salute, kneel and be obedient to that which is pleasing and delightful to Jehovah God. God loves us, and when we give Him praise, honor and glory for sending His Son Jesus into the world to die for our sins, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and help us to do according to His “pleasure”. Let us surrender to Jesus Christ, and we shall be saved and live with Him for all eternity.
Next time David says, “Bless the LORD, all his works in all places”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
