God's Word is True from the Beginning - Psalms 119:160

In Psalms one hundred nineteen the Psalmist said, “Consider how I love your precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to your lovingkindness”, and in chapter one hundred nineteen and verse one hundred and sixty of Psalms the Psalmist said to Jehovah God, “your word is true from the beginning” where we read,

Your word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures for ever.

The verse begins, Your word is true from the beginning: The Psalmist began with the words, “your word is true” or “your, Jehovah God's, speech, utterance, business, occupation, acts, manner and matters exists as firm, faithful, sure, reliable, stable and truthful” “from the beginning” which means “from the summit, upper part, front and principal time”. The Psalmist shared how Jehovah God's matters and manner were reliable and truthful from the principal time.

The verse continues, “and every one of your righteous judgments endures for ever. The Psalmist added the words, “and every one” or “and each, the whole, all and the total” “of your righteous judgments” which means “pertaining to your, Jehovah God's, just, right and correct ordinances, justice, processes, procedures, litigation and acts of deciding a case” “endures for ever” or “lasts and remains for long duration, perpetually, unto futurity, everlasting and always”. The Psalmist declared all of Jehovah God's just and right processes and procedures remain perpetually.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we learn how the Psalmist proclaimed that Jehovah God's “word” has been and always will be truthful, and all of God's processes and procedures are not only just and right, but also shall remain unto perpetuity. God wants us to rely upon and cling to Him, and when we realize that He sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus into the world to be crucified for the sins of all mankind, we have the opportunity to believe and trust in Him to have our sins forgiven, inherit everlasting life and enjoy the truth of God's “word” and the righteousness of His processes and procedures.

Next time we begin the next section of Psalm one hundred and nineteen with the Hebrew letter “SCHIN” where the Psalmist says, “princes have persecuted me without a cause” so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
