In Psalms one hundred and thirty eight David said to Jehovah God, “In the day when I cried you answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul”, and in chapter one hundred and thirty eight and verse four of Psalms David said, “All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O LORD” where we read,
All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.
The verse begins, “All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O LORD, ...” David began with the words, “all the kings” or “each, every, the whole and everyone of the royal rulers, chiefs and leaders” “of the earth” which means “belonging to the country, territory, region, district and world” “shall praise you” or “will give laud, thanksgiving, adoration and worship”, “O LORD” or “O Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. David said every one of the royal rulers and leaders in the world shall give honor, glory and adoration to Jehovah God.
The verse continues, “... when they hear the words of your mouth.” David added the words, “when they hear” or “at the time and moment, they, the royal rulers, chiefs and leaders within the world, give audience to, have the faculty of hearing, perceiving, noticing and discerning” “the words of your mouth” which means “the speeches, orations, declarations and commands from your, Jehovah God's, orifice in the face used for drinking, eating and speaking”. David shared how every royal leader in the world would give honor and thanksgiving unto Jehovah God at the time they perceive and understand the speeches and utterances of Jehovah God.
When we think through David's words in this verse, we learn how the royal rulers of the world will give honor and glory to Jehovah God when they understand His speeches and utterances. God speaks the truth, and anyone who follows what He has to say is living in the truth. People attempt to have other objects to worship, however, none of them have the power to save a person from their sins. God sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for the sins of every person, and when we believe and trust in Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and teach us to value His word in the same measure that He does Himself.
Next time David says the kings, “shall sing in the ways of the LORD”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
