In Psalms one hundred and thirty eight David said, “All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth”, and in chapter one hundred and thirty eight and verse five of Psalms David said, “they shall sing in the ways of the LORD” where we read,
Yes, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
The verse begins, “Yes, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD:” David began with the words, “yes, they shall sing” or “even so and indeed, they, the royal rulers of the world, will use their voices to make music” “in the ways” which means “within the journeys, manners, roads and paths” “of the LORD” or “belonging to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. David emphasized how the royal rulers of the world would make music with their voices in accordance with Jehovah God's manners and paths.
The verse goes on to say, “for great is the glory of the LORD.” David continued with the words, “for great” or “because, since and on account that intense, important, noble and mighty” “is the glory” which means “exists the honor, splendor, abundance, riches and dignity” “of the LORD” or “belonging to Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. David declared the importance and nobility of the honor and dignity that belongs to Jehovah God.
When we consider the words in this verse, we see how David continued to share how the royal rulers and leaders in the world would give honor and praise to the manners and paths of Jehovah God because His honor and splendor exists as important and mighty. God wants all people to be in a personal relationship with Him through His Son Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, and when we yield our lives to Him as our personal “Lord and Savior”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and allow us to be among the royal leaders who shall make music with their voices unto the “glory” of Jehovah God.
Next time David shares how the LORD has, “respect unto the lowly”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
Until tomorrow…there is more…
