The LORD Blessed Out of Zion - Psalms 135:21

In Psalms one hundred thirty five the Psalmist said, “Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: you that fear the LORD, bless the LORD”, and in chapter one hundred thirty five and verse twenty-one of Psalms the Psalmist said, “Bless be the LORD out of Zion” where we read,

Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwells at Jerusalem. Praise you the LORD.

The verse begins, “Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwells at Jerusalem. The Psalmist began with the words, “Blessed be the LORD” or “adored, praised, saluted and congratulated exists Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God“out of Zion” which means “from the city of Zion whose name means parched place and is another name for Jerusalem especially in the prophetic books” “which dwells” or “who abides, settles down, tabernacles and resides” “at Jerusalem” whose name means “teaching of peace” and is “the chief city of Palestine and capital of the united kingdom and the nation of Judah after the split”. The Psalmist declared that Jehovah God who abides in “Jerusalem” is to be adored and praised from the city of “Zion”.

The verse goes on to say, “Praise you the LORD. The Psalmist continued with the words, “praise you” or “you, people reading and listening to the Psalmist's words, shine, flash forth, be boastful and commend” “the LORD” which means “Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. The Psalmist instructed his readers and listeners to give adoration and commendation to Jehovah God.

When we meditate upon the words in this verse, we see how the Psalmist not only declared adoration and praise from “Zion” to be given Jehovah God who abides in “Jerusalem”, but He also that God is to be glorified by everyone. God loves people, and He proved His love by sending His Son Jesus to be crucified on the cross and to be raised from the dead three days later for the sins of the entire world. When we believe and trust in Him as our “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and allow us to be among the people who give honor, glory and adoration to Jehovah God forever and ever.

Next time we begin a new chapter and see the Psalmist say, “O give thanks unto the LORD”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
