They Do No Iniquity - Psalms 119:3

In Psalms one hundred nineteen the Psalmist said, “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart”, and in chapter one hundred nineteen and verse three of Psalms the Psalmist said, “they also do no iniquity where we read,

They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

The verse begins with the words, They also do no iniquity: The Psalmist began with the words, “they also” or “they, the people who are undefiled, walk in the way of the LORD, keep his testimonies and seek him with all their heart, even so and indeed” “do not iniquity” which means “do not make, perform, practice or commit unrighteousness, wrong, perverseness or wickedness”. The Psalmist said the people who were committed to Jehovah God and His ways do not perform perverse and wicked acts and deeds.

The verse continues, “they walk in his ways.” The Psalmist added the words, “they walk” or “they, the people who are undefiled, walk in the way of the LORD, keep his testimonies and seek him with all their heart as they amble about and make their journey” “in his ways” which means “within his, Jehovah God's, directions, habits and courses of life”. The Psalmist said the people who were committed to Jehovah God and His ways also make their journey according to His direction and course of life.

When we consider the words in this verse, we see how the Psalmist continued to share about people who are O how happy because they follow and commit to Jehovah God and His ways. These people do not commit wicked and evil acts, and they make their way through life in accordance to Jehovah God's direction and course of living. God wants to be intimately involved in our lives, and He sent His Son Jesus into the world to be crucified for the sins of all mankind. When we believe and trust in Him as our “Lord and Savior”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and help us to “walk in his ways” and not commit wicked or evil deeds.

Next time the Psalmist shares how Jehovah God, “commanded us to keep God's testimonies”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
