Kings, People, Princes and Judges - Psalms 148:11

In Psalms one hundred and forty eight the Psalmist said, “Praise the LORD from the earth, you dragons, and all deeps. Fire, and hail; snow, and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling his word. Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl”, and in Psalms one hundred and forty eight and verse eleven of Psalms the Psalmist shared about, “kings of the earth, and all people” where we read,

Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

The verse begins, Kings of the earth, and all people;. The Psalmist began with the words, “kings of the earth” or “royal rulers who reign within a country, region, territory, district or in the world”, “and all people” which means “and each, every, the whole and everyone of the human beings both male and female”. The Psalmist called upon the royal rulers and every person to join with God's creation and give adoration and thanksgiving to God.

The verse continues, “princes, and all judges of the earth:” The Psalmist added the word, “princes” or “captains, leaders, chieftains, nobles, vassals and official rulers”, “and all judges of the earth” which means “and each, every, the whole and everyone of the governors, ones who decide controversies and vindicators belonging to the country, territory, district, region and world”. The Psalmist called upon the captains, leaders and ones who decide controversies within the world to join God's creation and give glory and adoration to Jehovah God.

When we think through the words in this verse, we discover how the Psalmist called upon the royal rulers, every person, nobles, vassals and ones who decide controversies to join all creation in giving glory and thanksgiving to Jehovah God. God loves His creation, and He loves people. When we receive God's Son Jesus who died on the cross for our sins as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and join royal rulers, every person, “princes and judges” and give glory and thanksgiving to Jehovah God.

Next time the Psalmist shares about, “young men, maidens, old men and children”, so read ahead, and we shall join together then.
